EMOTION & DESIGN DAY 2 | Emotional effect of colour combinations and palettes and the relationship with colour.
It is recommended to follow the basic course EMOTION & COLOUR first.
Colours have a meaning and a psychological and emotional effect on their own, without regard to context. But they get their full strength only when combined in pairs or in palettes.
The relationship between meaning, emotion and colour on the one hand and colour combination and palette on the other hand is being studied. A distinction is made between a two colour combination that have a high meaning content and colour palettes with pronounced emotional content that can consist of multiple colours, each having a function within the palette, such as accent and leading colour.
